So with the developments we've had, honestly I think we're past 50%.

Why do I say that? If you've read recent manga you'd know a major element was revealed: The identity of rum.

Realistically I see this as a pretty big fact because Rum is supposedly a big big man in the org.

Aside from that, I have read somewhere that Gosho already wrote up the ending of the story in case he has some health issues.

I mean, think about how much has been revealed already:

- Amuro is PSB
- Akai is still alive, so the FBI are still strong
- Kir is still in the org as a double agent
- Rum's identity is revealed
- The org's supposed boss is revealed

There's alot more interesting stuff that's gonna happen but I think we're either 50% or past it by a bit. Though I'm almost certain that Gosho knows he's getting up in age and not to mention health concerns so as an author he should be thinking about how to progress the plot in such a way that he can either finish by the time he retires. (No idea when he plans to though)

nope, Aoyama himself has said that Kid and Conan are NOT fighting the same fight. Kid just runs into Conan once in a while. Conan right now is presently keeping Aoyama and his fans happy because the last Kid manga hiatus is approaching... ahh... seven years now?

i did the math a few hours ago on how many episodes are actually canon/filler. let me get those numbers for you.

ok ep1029? let's see this week makes... 1052... let's see how many fillers are between 29 and 52. ok 16 fillers. from ep1 till ep1029 there have been a reported 449 + 16 = 465 fillers total. 42.68% fillers including this week's episode. :D so the filler percentage since ep 1029 has only gone down 1% from the previous number of 44%. :D canon is 1052 - 465 = 587 canon episodes. hmm. that definitely would reduce the number of episodes you'd have to watch.

although, if you go back to the earliest seasons of Conan back in the 1990's?
in S1 there were only 8 fillers amongst 28 total episodes.
S2 there were 11 fillers in 26 total episodes.
S3 14 fillers in 28 episodes... see the pattern forming? the longer the TV anime ran non-stop with only a short hiatus for Xmas and New Years... the number of fillers had to add up to higher and higher numbers per Season to keep the TV anime BEHIND Aoyama and his manga chapters.

as for Manga chapters, Jul 27, 2022 - Aug 17, 2022 is Shonen Sunday's next/present edition and Aoyama has written 1099 chapters including that one. the anime? oh Episodes 1053&54 (Aug. 6, 13) will be manga Chapters 1051&54. ;) so the anime is still... today... hmm... 45 chapters behind Aoyama. :D

so if he doesn't hurry up and finish Conan before he keels over and croaks? :D hehahah! we won't be finishing the Conan TV anime for more than a few years! :D

but don't worry, Aoyama has said more than once in interviews during these past 25 years that he has a plan in place to complete Conan JIC he does kick the bucket unexpectedly... what that plan is... he won't say! :D he did joke once though, that if he's at his desk working on Conan when he passes... he will do his very very best to write a clear and EASY to understand 'dying message!' heh! hahah! :D

He is not delusional, he is obsessed with her. Obsessed and delusional are 2 different thing. And women are scary? From this episode? The scary one was the husband, he was so obsessed with her, he doesn't even think twice of killing someone just because of jealousy. She clearly afraid of him, thats why she hire someone to kill him, or she won't be able to get away from him no matter what she do. And he might even kill someone she loves if she tries to run away from him. Its very obvious that the husband are yandere in this case.
And why did you use spoiler tag? If its what happen in this episode, there is no need to use that tag. The discussion exist on every episode to discuss what happen in the said episode after all. Of course there is some people that went and read comments first before watch the episode, but its their own fault for doing it.

Don't be. The man is messed up first. The man is a yandere that keeps pestering that Erina, eventually, Erina has to give in. But since he's so messed up, Erina tried kill him since she thought that's the only way out. that's why at the end, instead of sympathizing or feel any guilt, Erina call him a creep instead.

note: I'm not saying that Erina is the one in the right, they both equally messed. that's why you shouldn't feel sorry/sad for both of them.

well. it all depends on how the laws in Japan are written. but an "accessory after the fact" is somebody that helps an actual criminal after the crime is committed. most of those jail times are minimal at best, depending on the level of assistance provided. give a guy a fiver for cab fare to the airport so he can escape? meh, not all that serious. help your hubby stage a fake burglary to cover up him killing your hitman you hired to kill your hubby? now THAT is serious! :D
